Late at night on the island Sumatra, a Indonesian radar operator suddenly picks up several large ships and hundreds of smaller ships and a large amount of aircraft on the radar. The Indonesian sonar net has also begun to pick up several submarines. The fleet is of unknown origin, and it sails on a direct course to Java and Sumatra.
--Indian Ocean--
Out at sea, a large force of 2 9 gunner BB's, 6 8 gunner BB's, 12 6 gunner BB's, 6 super carriers, 2 battle carriers, 3 attack carriers, 12 missile cruisers, 18 heavy cruisers, 20 light cruisers, 4 stealth cruisers, 40 SSN's, 120 stealth destroyers, 20 ASW frigates, 20 missile corvettes, 5 helicopter ASW destroyers, and 20 stealth corvettes makes their way twoards Indonesian waters. The fleet is accompanied by a large amount of amphibious assault ships, carrying 4 legions with 4 armored corpses, 10 corpses of elite paramilitary jungle fighters, necromomger battle priests, 5 holy houses, and other elements of the faith militia.
3 fighter divisions (one consists of Panthers) has been deployed with the fleet, to provide air cover and intercept enemy aircraft and missiles. 4 strike fighter wings and 2 bomber wings are also deployed, but they are held in the back with the carriers and helicopter elements of the battle group. Early warring aircraft are strategically deployed around the fleet to prevent surface/aerial surprise attacks and help intercept targets, and ASW helicopter are also deployed with their towed sonars in the water.
2 squadrons of heavy transport aircraft has also been assigned to the battle group with their complements of elite Para commando paratroopers, but they are held in the back with the carriers as well.
The fleet splits up into two parts, with one heading to Sumatra and the other to Java. Each has 2 legions and armored corpses with them, and each has dedicated escorts and ASW and anti air ships with them, to protect them against interception. Long range cruise missiles are prepared to fired at the islands and any Indonesian vessels that might challenge the fleet, and longe range interception missiles and mid to short range air to air missiles are also prepared along with all other countermeasures.
Indian HQ expects the Indonesians to have some exceptional strong defenses, so they have brought some of the heaviest weapons available in the republic with them, including MOABs, heavy bunker busters, 36cm Destroria howitzers, napalm, a couple FOABs, and more heavy weapons. The fleet continues its advance towards the islands, and prepares for the worst.
